Colin Farell's Total Recall

It's a rumor that's been floating around for months, but now producer Neal Moritz has confirmed that Colin Farrell will star in an upcoming "Total Recall" reboot, which kicks off production in May.

The film, helmed by "Underworld" director Len Wiseman, will not only be massive in scope, but stick a little closer to the Philip K. Dick story ("We Can Remember It for You Wholesale") than Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1990 cult classic did.

That means they won't go into space -- which probably also means no Kuato (sad face!), no "two weeeeeeeks" immigration scene and no three-boobed hookers. But that could be a good thing since those elements are so iconic, any inclusion in the 2012 reboot would feel a little too "winky."
In fact, the further Colin's "Recall" can step away from the original, the better it may be judging from the other reboots we've watched this decade.

  2. I think I have only watched Colin F. suck in every movie he's starred in. Sucking really bad. But when it's not the actor that interests me, there's still the director and/or the plot. So... I may end up watching this one.
