Matthew Morrison Tries Too Hard




After the Madonna filled episode of Glee gained such praise, Britney Spears manager Adam Leber began a Twitter campaign to have a Britney-Themed episode.  He tweeted on April 20 asking if "you want to see a Britney episode on Glee?"  Everyone would, right?

Well not everyone.  Matthew Morrison, who we all know as man whore Will Schuester, made sure he set the record straight.


"Her manager just put out the rumor," Matthew said at the White House Correspondents dinner. "Hopefully we don't go down that road."

Okay, okay, we get it Matt.  You are straight and you are NOT a fan of Britney or Madonna because of said sexual orientation.  Get this through that curly ass head of yours. The more you shove the straightness down our throats and try so hard to boycott everything gay, the more we see you leading the Gay Pride Parade.

    how was his reception with the Madonna episode? Was he outspoken about it? I wasn't aware of any of that. I mean if i was him, i wouldn't want to do a Britney centric episode. She ruined my childhood and I am a 20 year old female. And i still think she sucks.

    The famous always play with words. All he's said to interviewers is that he's, "Not gay". He has never said that he's not BISEXUAL, or for that matter bi and may have leanings towards men (or women, or whatever). There are TONS of bi men/women in Hollywood, but reporters are still idiots and only ask them the black-or-white question of whether they are gay or straight only. duh.

    I really hope that he's gay, or bi. After watching Valentine's Day, I've been obsessed with the idea that Matt and Eric Dane would make a hot pair :D

    Maybe he's sticking up for the Glee Club members who feel pressured to perform more current hits, or feature Ryan Murphy's celebrity friends on their show.
    By saying no to Britney, he gives them a fighting chance to discover songs which help translate their worlds into ours. One of the best performances in Season 2 was one with an older song: "Landslide" by the Dixie Chicks (covered by Holly, Santana and Brittany) was beautiful because it was REAL.
