Betty White Will Be Live From New York!

Emmy winner Betty White revealed to People that she would be appearing on Saturday Night Live, thanks to the huge internet movement that got the wheels turning.  The actress has had a tremendous year, appearing in a Snickers Superbowl Commercial that was one of the top rated of the evening, and she earned huge laughs while accepting her SAG award earlier this year.

While both the actress and SNL executive producer are staying mum on when the appearance will take place, rumors have circulated that she would co-host a "Women Of Comedy" special with Tina Fey and Molly Shannon.  Lorne Michaels has denied that, which pleases me.

White should host her own episode of SNL.  Nothing would tickle me better than to see her doing a monologue and be incorporated into the sketches.  I smell a Golden Girls "reunion."
