Courtney Cox And David Arquette Separate

Shocking news erupted today as word broke that Courtney Cox and David Arquette have decided to separate. A couple that seemed so happy together and unlike other HW marriages, they revealed that they have been separated for some time now.

A released statement said the following:

"We have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time," the duo said in a statement. "The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage. We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply. As we go though this process we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together.

"We are comfortable with the boundaries that we have established for each other during this separation and we hope that our friends, family, fans and the media also show us respect, dignity, understanding and love at this time as well."

The couple share a 6 year old daughter, Coco, and recently wrapped up filming on the latest installment of Scream, the movie that brought them together over 11 years ago.  David had been seen recently without his wedding ring on and we all remember the stir Courtney caused when she was photographed looking chummy with her Cougar Town co-star.

This is one couple that I hope works thing out.  Through all the glitz and glamor and fake HW, these two were a refreshing couple.  Today I am sad.

Glee Does The Time Warp

With the best holiday ever right around the corner, Glee is celebrating Halloween by doing what they do best.  A Rocky Horror Picture Show tribute is on the horizon and the first shots have been released.

Newcomer Chord Overstreet will be the delicious Rocky while Chris Colfer is portraying Riff-Raff.  Finn makes an adorable Brad while Dianna Argon and John Stamos round out the cast.  Does this mean that Matthew Morrison will be the sweet transvestite from Transylvania?  And I wouldn't mind Chord being in the penis covering rag that Rocky wore in the original.  Cross your fingers for a new Penis Monday candidate.

Three Weddings And A Divorce Smackdown

Love was in the air this weekend as three celebrity weddings took place.


American Idol runner up Crystal Bowersox wed musician Brian Walker in a small ceremony in Chicago.

Brothers And Sisters star Dave Annabale and actress Odette Yusman also wed this past weekend.  Putting their own touch on the ceremony, the bride walked down the aisle to The Beatles All You Need Is Love.  Co-star Ron Rifkin officiated the nuptials while Matthew Rhys was David's best man.

Alexa Vega, star of The Spy Kids, wed her boyfriend Sean Covel, who produced Napoleon Dynamite.  The actress and producer wed in South Dakota at the Homestake Opera House.

And while love was in full bloom, there was also a storm brewing.  Singer Ben Harper blindsided his actress wife Laura Dern by filing for a divorce after five years of marriage.  Ben claims in the filing that the he has been separated from his wife since January, however the couple has been seen together at events as late as last weekend.  Ben has also decided to go for sole custody for their 9 year old son and 5 year old daughter.  Looks like Laura may have a fight on her hands.
