Seems that Cupid is still hard at work, even though he should be worn out from making the union of Katy Perry and Russell Brand actually happen. It seems that something is in the water or maybe it's just some handy PR.
The first is the "news" that Jake Gyllenhaal floated on down to NYC and partied behind the scenes of Saturday Night Live in attempts to woo Taylor Swift, who is suddenly best friends with Emma Stone. Jake took over NYC the following day with Taylor and they have now become the new couple to watch.
I find it very hard to believe that Jake would go after a woman who in my opinion has a fetish for drama and likes to stir controversy to help sell her CD's. More on Taylor in another post, I promise. But we are now being led to believe that Jake and Taylor are about to hook up. I call bullshit on this. We have a young woman who likes attention and a star who seems to have a reason behind every hook up. To me, this reeks of a PR stunt and I'm just going to go ahead enter the last piece of evidence. This girl also "dated" Taylor Lautner. Case closed.
Let's move on, shall we? Matthew Morrison and Cameron Diaz were recently seen out together, though reports say that they seemed more like brother and sister. Now, I tend to believe that Matthew and Cameron really may have been testing the waters to see if there was a spark. But judging from Cameron's long list of exes, Matthew doesn't really seem like her type. Then again, maybe she just wanted to see what it would be like to sleep with a more grown up version of ex Justin Timberlake.
And it appears that Tom Sturridge is ditching BFF Rob Pattinson and hanging out with the newly single Carey Mulligan. We all know that Carey recently broke-up with Shia LeBeouf and is now slumming it in a motel down by the interstate. Reports are that Tom has been keeping Carey company and that they two are putting that vibrating bed to good use. This hook-up I believe. How long did we expect Tom to stay in Kristen Stewart's shadow?
