Three Weddings And A Divorce Smackdown

Love was in the air this weekend as three celebrity weddings took place.


American Idol runner up Crystal Bowersox wed musician Brian Walker in a small ceremony in Chicago.

Brothers And Sisters star Dave Annabale and actress Odette Yusman also wed this past weekend.  Putting their own touch on the ceremony, the bride walked down the aisle to The Beatles All You Need Is Love.  Co-star Ron Rifkin officiated the nuptials while Matthew Rhys was David's best man.

Alexa Vega, star of The Spy Kids, wed her boyfriend Sean Covel, who produced Napoleon Dynamite.  The actress and producer wed in South Dakota at the Homestake Opera House.

And while love was in full bloom, there was also a storm brewing.  Singer Ben Harper blindsided his actress wife Laura Dern by filing for a divorce after five years of marriage.  Ben claims in the filing that the he has been separated from his wife since January, however the couple has been seen together at events as late as last weekend.  Ben has also decided to go for sole custody for their 9 year old son and 5 year old daughter.  Looks like Laura may have a fight on her hands.

Where is Gossip Boy?

To the readers who have stuck around and still are looking for the return of Gossip Boy, thank you.  I will start by saying that The blog will return, though I have promised before.  I must admit that certain things in ones life can prevent you from doing a lot and there have been a lot of ups and downs in my life and career lately.  I have taken this off time to kind of recollect myself and just when you think the shit storm has died own, in comes another crapload.  So if you care to patiently wait as we recover from the crap and try to make a go of life without Gigi, the reward will be worth it. 

There will be postings soon, though I a not sure as to when the blog will be back to it's old self.  I promise it wont be too long and you can always email your questions and you may get surprised with a random Dear GB.

Topless Tuesday

So, I know that this does not constitute as a Topless Tuesday picture, however we have all seemed to have fallen in love with Jim Parrack and this picture cemented it for us.  Can you imagine waking up next to this every morning and see that sexy smile?

As Hoyt on True Blood he is probably the sweetest character on the show, and in many ways the sexiest.  Though Jim is happily married, Hoyt is not and we get a chance to see his recently buffer body have hot sex scenes with vampire Jessica.

Flailing With The "Stars"

The new line-up for the upcoming Dancing With The Stars were revealed recently and didn't really do one damn thing for me.  Nothing like the excitement that Shannen Doherty created for me last season.   This year the only thing that caught my interest was Margaret Freakin Cho, who I love on
Drop Dead Diva.

Heartbreak Hotel

Some not so surprising news in the love department as reps for Rachel Bilson have confirmed that she and Hayden Christensen have officially broken up.  As if the fact that they postponed their engagement wasn't enough of a sign.  Rachel and Hayden have always managed to stay below the radar through out their three year relationship.  In fact, it was never officially announced that the couple was engaged.  So the fact that they are making it known that they are no longer getting married is very gracious of them.

Rachel has been steadily climbing the ranks in HW and since the wedding was postponed, Rachel has been spotted out a lot more than in the past.  Rachel is a woman who knows what she wants but hasn't been able to secure it yet.  Her biggest claim to fame was a Summer on The O.C, even though she was very good in the forgotten movie, The Last Kiss.

Hayden has been laying more low key, lunching with some male friends around town.  Hayden has been said to have been the one to end the relationship, claiming that they wanted different things. Wonder what he means by that?

In other heartbreaking news, sexy actor Jonathon Schaech and his wife Jana Cramer of One Tree Hill have decided to end their marriage.  What makes this even worth talking about is the fact that they got married on July 4th, of THIS YEAR! 

If you remember Jonathon was once married to Christina Applegate, another one of my favs.  Christina is currently expecting her first baby with her fiance Martyn LeNoble.

See Jonathon, this is why you reveal the kink in the bedroom before you get married.  Next time bring out the toys and boys before the I do's.  Not that you are gay....just saying.

Wow, can you see the excitement of being a newlywed on Megan's face?  BAG is just finally happy he convinced someone to walk down the aisle while Megan seems to need an escape plan.

Kate Gosselin was pictured taking her kids to get their hair cut which we all know can only mean one thing. Filming on Kate + 8 has begun.  I'm sorry but she does realize that they are in Pennsylvania and not HW right?  I really wanna see her break one of those hooker heels and do a faceplant.  Too far??

Matthew Morrison attended the Teen Choice Awards with co-stars Jayma Mays and Jane Lynch.  Matthew also managed to bring along a nice bulge shot for us. Sorry but am I the only one who wants to do Matty more and more every time I lay eyes on him??

FameWhore Farrah Slips Up

Famewhore Farrah spends most of her time in front of the cameras.  If not filming, then being "caught" by paparazzi while she spends quality time with her offspring. 

Farrah holds a strong front up while out and has been struggling to maintain the career that she wants, though her box-office numbers have dove down almost has fast as her weight. 

FF is also a back stabbing whore who sleeps with any man that she can get her claws in.  Her latest beau was a set-up that she had planned for a long time.  No matter that he had a wife and a baby on the way.  But once his wife lost the baby, she sank her claws in and snatched him away.

FF has a dark and twisted past, one that she has tried to distance herself from for years.  But the problem is that Famewhore had a baby at a very young age with a man that she NEVER should have been sleeping with.  Farrah gave the baby up for adoption and has tried to make up for it ever since.  But word on the street is that FF's little love child is gunning for her.

Farrah could never deny it, the girl looks like Farrah cloned herself.  But FF knows that no matter what she has done in the present, if her little secrets came out her entire reputation would be flushed.  Not to mention that her hunky honey would probably take half of his and roll out.

The End Of Twilight And The End Of The World

Since Summit has become money hungry and split Breaking Dawn into two flicks, I wondered how long they would make us wait until the second part and last chapter would be released.

Part One of Breaking Dawn is set to hit theaters on November 18, 2011 and news has just been released that part two is going to be released on November 16, 2012. 

With the world coming to a catastrophic end on December 21, 2012, Summit has determined that Breaking Dawn will probably be the last movie I ever see. 

Wonder if Stephanie Meyer released Midnight Sun, she would save the world?

Real World: Baywatch Style

More evidence that television bigwigs have simply run out of ideas has emerged with the news that four former Baywatch "Babes" are reuniting for a reality show.

Traci Bingham, Nicole Eggert, Donna D'Errico and Gena Lee Nolin have signed on to star in the new reality series, 'Back to the Bay,' Variety's Michael Schneider reports.  The show is basically about these for washed up actresses who all get to live in a beach house and have their lives filmed.

Does anyone really believe that anyone will find this show interesting?  I mean sure, the toddler in all straight mens pants will no doubt be their fan base.  But once they realize that no one is going to get plastered and make-out topless in the hot tub,  buh bye boys.

Sorry but I feel, and I am sure most of you agree, that if we wanted to watch a lame ass show with 4 lame ass actresses, we would watch Gossip Girl.  Yup, I said it.

Trust me, this is the calm before the storm.  Soon they will be shoved down our throats once again, but I doubt there will be wedding bells in the future.  Then again, who would have thought Tom Cruise would ever pay Katie enough to marry him?

I met Matt once back in his soap opera days and I think that he is just an actor who is serious about his work and doesn't feel the need to fit any stereo-type.  I don't think he back-tracked, just let it be known that he doesn't care about the rumors. He is a pretty decent guy, just not that entertaining.

Rainbow Dark and Sunshine have come to an agreement that allows them both to get what they want.  If I told you what it was, you would know who they were, so I will keep that to myself.  Let's just say that Sunshine is calling the shots now and RD is not really in the public eye these days.  As for Dorothy, she seems to have moved on, but I hear that it was only after a couple of late night meetings with Mr. Public.

Since I am a mother, I'd like to know your take on the current crop of Disney stars (Miranda Cosgrove, Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, etc). I've already had to ban Miley from my t.v. but what about the kids on other shows? Are any of them scandal free enough to allow my children to become fans?

I wouldn't worry too much about the remaining Disney kids.  Since you already banned this generation's Britney I think that you are okay.  Although you may want to keep an eye on Demi.  I would recommend her old bff Selena instead.  Selena walked away for a reason.

What do you think of True Blood getting a best drama nod, but Alex Skarsgard not getting a supporting actor nomination?  I think it's ridiculous.  He was the reason season two popped the way it did.  He stole every scene he was in and he and Allan Hyde made the Godric story very moving.  It wasn't Maryann who got the audience hooked and the critics interested!  Nor, frankly, was it Bill or Sookie.  I think Alex deserved the nod.

I'm sorry but I do not agree.  Yes Alexander should have received a nomination considering that if you Eric and Alex are complete opposites and anyone that can pull of that deserves an award.  However, Maryann scared the living gay out of me and I am sorry, she is the reason for season 2 popping.

Jensen and Jared aren't as close as they once were, but rest assured.  I'm sure the two men still love each other and they still spend a lot of time together.  Now only if they can get their wives to get along I am sure that it will go a lot more smoothly.

The Many Faces Of Jewel

FunnyOrDie.com  never misses a beat when it comes to it's trademark short films and now singer Jewel has joined the ranks.  Jewel went along with a prank and transformed herself into a frumpy sales woman who has joined her co-workers for a night out at a karaoke bar.  Jewel then was coaxed into taking the stage by her "co-workers" and then proceeded to amaze the crowd as she sang classic Jewel songs.

The best part is the audience's reaction to hearing this nobody belt out Jewel's songs and then finding out that it was Jewel the whole time.  The man who says that it was ironic that Jewel showed up after "Karen" left was good because Karen sang it better than Jewel herself.
