? Can you picture him in car chases, womanizing, and killing the bad guys? He is the latest star to admit to having a liking for the role. What guy doesn't have a little boy inside of him that would love to get to pretend to be James Bond.He said: 'I would love to play Bond. Maybe in a few years, what am I talking about? I'd love to!'
Pattinson added. 'I'm not very good at running so that's a bit of a problem for James Bond.'
"If it hadn't been for the quick-thinking of two members of his team, he could easily have been a goner," a source said. "He was pushed off the sidewalk by the sheer number of fans who were trying to get close to him and fell against the door of a moving vehicle.
"If his clothing had got caught or a foot had gone under the car there's no doubt he would have been dragged along and seriously hurt."
Would you go and see Robert as James Bond? I'd go see him as James Bond. Hell, I'd go see him as the naked homeless man on the corner. I cannot help it, I'm more into the character of Edward. But I have a weakness for men with accents.

He needs a couple of years to mature his look before he could do Bond. Though I could see it, already has the accent.
He's too young to play Bond. But in a few years? Maybe. At least he'd get to keep the accent. I hate his American accent.
Bond in a few years. In the meantime, the man has a sense of humour, maybe a David Niven or Austin Powers type spoof? :)

Bond was classy. Always. In every iteration. Pattison is filthy dirty. In every way. He could easily play homeless guy on the corner. He's dirty and smelly enough.

naw, he's not a physical actor. like the Hugh Grant comparison. Or the scottish one in Atonement who looked silly with a gun in that Angelina movie. Clive Owen already turned it down now he's probably getting too old & he doesn't need Bond.

He is sooo gross and dirty! The only reason he is an okay Edward is becuz they have to put white makeup on him, so he at some point has to shower it off.
