is bringing the character of Carol to Gossip Girl in a potentially recurring role. Douglas will play the older sister to Kelly Rutherford's character, Lily van der WoodsenKrysten Ritter
originated the role of Carol in the episode of Gossip Girl which served as the pilot, and word is that Carol is coming to the UES with some surprises of her own.

Oh Illeana Douglas... Reminds me of the fact that I got to watch Factory Girl last weekend and that it depressed the hell out of me. :(
Great movie anyway. So Illeana, I'd watch you in GG if I watched GG to begin with... Just thought I'd tell you that. ;-)
