For a change, I have a good deed to tell you about. A celebrity actually did something that we don't have to hide in a blind.
Actress Renee Zellweger was saved from a possible parking ticket when a stranger slipped some coins into her expiring meter outside Starbucks. Her reply? Zellweger gave him a $100 Starbucks gift card -- with a sweet message. "Wow," the note read. "Thank you so much for the kindness. Warmly, with gratitude, Renee!"

lol Cute
Is it wrong that I immediately thought 'I bet he would rather the cash'??
Aww, that is nice to hear. I would've never imagined her to have done that!
why do i think it's not so nice?
for me,she's too rich!
Aww! Can you do more positive pieces like this? This is good and brings good karma!
Very nice of her.
He might have wanted the cash, but how often do you wander around with loads of cash? These days a card works everywhere... except the parking meter.
As soon as they can figure out how to issue a fine directly to the card if you go over in time then it will work there too. (oh my, I sound like a nut.)
I met Renee while she was filming One and Only in Baltimore. She was so gracious and nice. She bought all of us extras coffee that morning too. She got our specific orders and a half an hour later we all had Starbucks
Pomme,
When you make it big in your chosen field and have a lot of money and success, I sincerely hope no one decides you have too much money.
Honestly, it's comments like that that make me fear for this country.
word
I love stories like this. She has always seemed very nice, and this confirms it. Good to know some stars still have manners and gratitude.
