Nuthin But A Glee Thing

Nuthin' But A Glee Thang with Heather Morris, Matthew Morrison & Sofia Vergara from Heather Morris

Proving there’s no competition between the supporting actresses on Glee and Modern Family, Sofia Vergara appears in a new FunnyorDie video that finds her, Glee‘s Heather Morris, Morris’ roommate Ashley Lendzion, and actress Riki Lindhome as Gleeks. Before the video erupts into Morris, Lendzion, and Lindhome borrowing Dr. Dre’s beat for the remake “Nuthin’ But a Glee Thing,” which they wrote, Vergara joins the ladies — wearing a red Sue Sylvester tracksuit — to talk about their favorite cast members. “Comparing Jane to the rest of the cast is like comparing the Great Barrier Reef with a piece of dogshit,” she says. “No offense, Heather.” Then it cuts to a confessional. “Heather is my favorite. I just don’t want her to know because I don’t want her to think that I’m just a crazy fan that doesn’t know the difference between TV and reality… It just makes me want to cut to a musical number.” Vergara sticks around to dance. Glee stars Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith, Harry Shum Jr., and Naya Rivera also make appearances. The video, a concept Morris brought up to producer David Bernad in a meeting last May, was shot over a two-month period. It was Bernad’s idea to enlist Vergara as a closet Glee fan.

Colin Farell's Total Recall

It's a rumor that's been floating around for months, but now producer Neal Moritz has confirmed that Colin Farrell will star in an upcoming "Total Recall" reboot, which kicks off production in May.

The film, helmed by "Underworld" director Len Wiseman, will not only be massive in scope, but stick a little closer to the Philip K. Dick story ("We Can Remember It for You Wholesale") than Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1990 cult classic did.

That means they won't go into space -- which probably also means no Kuato (sad face!), no "two weeeeeeeks" immigration scene and no three-boobed hookers. But that could be a good thing since those elements are so iconic, any inclusion in the 2012 reboot would feel a little too "winky."
In fact, the further Colin's "Recall" can step away from the original, the better it may be judging from the other reboots we've watched this decade.

It's Raining Babies!

Babies, babies, everywhere babies.

Singer Jewel has gone from living in a van to living in a Texas ranch house with her husband, Ty Murray.  She has also recently signed on to star in a reality show for Bravo and on their first day of filming, the singer found out she was pregnant.

"I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!" the singer reveals. "It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I'd start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, 'Oh, she's pregnant.'"

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have welcomed a baby boy into their little family, a very big baby boy.  The son, born last Friday, weighed almost ten pounds and is said to be absolutely adorable.

The couple haven't released pictures or a name as of yet, but family and friends have said that they have never seen the couple happier.

And last, but not least, there is Khloe Kardashian Odom.  She is constantly plagued by pregnancy rumors, however this time I hear that it is actually true.  While Khloe's people haven't confirmed anything yet, I wouldn't put it past her. Can you think of any better PR when you have your own reality show about to start?

As long as that damn stork stays away from me....oh you need a vagina involved?  Well then, I'm good.

Happy Topless Tuesday

Here are some extra warm men to keep you entertained on this very cold and snowy Tuesday. If it's not cold where you are, sorry for making you even hotter.

Pineapple Express 2?

Evan Goldberg has revealed that a Pineapple Express 2 may be on the way.

Goldberg, the screenwriter behind The Green Hornet, spoke to Screen Rant about the possibility of a crossover sequel for Pineapple Express and Superbad.

"Well, we toyed with that idea right after Pineapple came out. We thought that people would enjoy McLovin and Franco together; but we're never going to touch Superbad ever again, that's a terrible idea," said Goldberg. "I'm even hesitant to make Pineapple 2, but I'm loosening up to it as of, like, the last few weeks."

Goldberg continued: "Everyone has always wanted to do it. Me and Seth [Rogen] were very hesitant, but frankly I was the driving force behind that hesitancy... Great, great films don't have sequels."

Do you want a sequel?

Quantum Leap Will Leap Into Theaters

Quantum Leap was an awesome show back in the day, way ahead of it's time.  And now star Scott Bakula has announced that a film version of the sci-fi television series is indeed in development.

Bakula, who portrayed the time traveling Sam Beckett in the NBC drama, told fans at this year's Comic-Con that the show's creator Donald P. Bellisario is hammering out a script for the movie.

"The good news is that Don is working on the film script and has a big-time Hollywood producer who wants to do it," revealed Bakula. "It's about time."

On a sadder note, Bakula claimed that he and co-star Dean Stockwell (Al Calavicci) are now too old to even think about reprising their original roles. He suggested that the characters will have to be recast for the film.

"But Dean and I will have a part in it somehow," he added hopefully.

The original Quantum Leap ran from 1989 to 1993.

Johnny Galecki Gets An Entourage

This final season of Entourage is upon us and after years of watching Vincent Chase and his climb to stardom, it's time to say good-bye.

Rumors are that this season would have an overload of guest stars and that we may also learn the first name of Mrs. Ari.  It's been announced that Johnny Galecki would become a recurring guest star this season, playing a "tougher" version of himself.

The storyline is that Eric (Kevin Connolly) will sign Galecki after he gains fame from a hit movie and a hit television show.  While Eric and Scott (Scott Caan) welcome Galecki into their agency with open arms, Johnny takes an interest in E's girlfriend Sloan ( Emmanuelle Chriqui).

Don't worry though, Johnny will not be missing from his day job as Leonard on The Big Bang Theory.

Happy 25th Mario Bros.

Super Mario Bros. turns 25 and some celebs have come together to wish the video game a happy anniversary. I am posting this video partially because of Penn Badgley. He doesn't get enough credit as a Hollywood Hottie and I think his part in this video shows his cute irresistible side. But this is one Gossip Guy that is totally straight, and trust me I would (kinda) tell you if he wasn't.

Anyways, if you were alive in the 90's and not living under a rock, you know who the Mario Bros. are and at some point in your life have played at least one version of the game. Rachel Bilson, Penn Badgley, Jane Lynch, and Chris Colfer are all featured in the video.

So today, everyone play Mario Bros. or at least hum the theme whenever you have a moment.

ABC Gets Wicked

ABC has decided to return to the miniseries market and has picked a hell of an adaption.  ABC, with the help of Salma Hayek, is turning Gregory Maguire's best selling book, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West into an 8 hour epic miniseries.

For those of you who are thinking that they mean the musical that is now a Broadway hit, you are wrong.  The musical is only loosely based on the book while the miniseries will be a more representation of Maguire's novel.  It will center around Elphaba Thropp, a.k.a The Wicked Witch of the West, and the journey that led her to the witch that Dorothy murdered.

Salma Hayek's production studio Ventanarosa will help ABC develop the miniseries with Emmy Awarding winning Erik Jendresen (Band of Brothers) penning the script.  With Jendresen developing the script, I can expect that the miniseries will stay true to the darker side of the novel.

This novel is one of my favorites of all time.  It deals with issues such as segregation, religion, political corruption, and racism.  By the end of this novel, you are almost in tears when Dorothy commits the act that ends Elphaba's life.  As you watch OZ, you see Dorothy's side and you hate the witch.  After Wicked you will never watch that movie the same way again.

This is sure to be a hit for the alphabet network, and may even revive the miniseries for other networks.  Information has yet to be released, as the ink is still wet.  But expect Wicked in the fall of 2011/Spring2012
