Carson Daly Comes To FUSE

I didn't even know that this was still on the air, but Last Call With Carson Daly has struck a deal with FUSE  to air the talk show a day after it's original broadcast.  The episodes will reportedly contain new and expanded content from the show.

Remember when Carson Daly was the shit?  He WAS TRL and everyone loved him.  Then he dated Jennifer Love Hewitt, before she was skanky, and then she dumped him while she was on Howard Stern's radio show.  Which he was listening to in bed.  From that point on, Carson seemed to begin his transformation.  The once chubby, sexy VJ was now a skinny looking nerd with big ears and leaving TRL.

Sorry to go off track, but I miss the days of Carson and TRL.  Ahh, good times.  Well, Daly is now a host on NBC's  The Voicewhich has actually raised his profile again.  As of August 24th, Fuse will begin airing previously aired episodes of Daly's late night talk show, which has actually gained an audience as of late.  Last Call With Carson Daly will be on FUSE everyday at 6:30 and 10:30 pm.

Our Generations A Listers Part 1

As the years pass, many of our favorite celebrities are seen less and less.  Who can blame them? Escaping the public eye and living a quiet life of luxury.

Then there are the ones who want to keep working but Hollywood as cast too old to continue on.  Though they have huge names, their ideal roles are far and few between.  So we pondered who was going to be the new A-Listers of our generation.  With so many new faces on the scene, which ones actually had staying power and the "it" factor to actually join the ranks of Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts?

While the rest of Manhattan shared their drama filled earthquake stories, we sat around making our list.  Feel free to add your thoughts in the comments.  Be mean if you want, we can take it. So here is Part 1;

Meet Donny DivaSmith

Donny DivaSmith is a well known actor who has spread his wings throughout Hollywood for years.  He started out as a charmer to work with.  Very polite and respectful, just like his mama raised him to be. And that is what got him the attention of the ladies on the sets.

Donny loved the ladies, but he had no idea how to work them.  Talk about embarrassing, this poor guy once turned to ice when a stunning A list woman introduced herself.  After that failure, a co-star of his took DDS under his playboy wing and schooled the actor on how to date in HW.

The plan backfired in my eyes because soon DDS became our generations Casanova, putting guys like Colin Farrell to shame.  DDS then realized he could have everything he wanted, exactly how he wanted it.  His OCD seems to have kicked in because his friends say that he began demanding things on set be a certain way or else he walked off.  One day he proved his point, holding up filming because his water was kept in a cooler directly with the ice instead of being stored in an  air tight sealed bag to keep the "ice germs" from contaminating the bottle of water.

He has begun to demand that his conquests shower completely before they have sex and allow him to manicure their lawn.  He feels that the germs could possibly hurt his award winning member.  He recently tried that with a female co-star,who laughed her ass of while she got dressed and left.

His current co-stars have had it with his ridiculous requests and time consuming rants that they have begun to tamper with his trailer.  Hope he gets a new toothbrush soon.  Then again, he is so clean, how dirty could his toilet have really been?

The Muppets And Ok Go Video Premiere

The Muppets are on the comeback trail—not only do they have The Green Album (a collection of covers of some of the group’s most iconic tunes as interpreted by Weezer, Hayley Williams of Paramore, My Morning Jacket, and a bunch of others) coming out, but there is also a fresh film hitting your local film emporium this November, their first since 1999′s under-loved Muppets From Space.

The Green Album is available now, and the film (which is simply called The Muppets and stars Jason Segel and Amy Adams alongside Kermit, Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie, and the rest) will be out on November 23.
Also, that scene where the Muppets are operating the members of the band while they play their instruments is sort of creepy and unsettling, right?

What’s your take on OK Go’s adventures in Muppet-land? Leave your most sensational, celebrational, inspirational thoughts in the comments below

The Best Tweets From The 2011 East Coast Quake

Here are some of Hollywood's best tweets about the quake:

Film director Frank Marshall wrote, "Had to come all the way from LA to Queens to be in an earthquake!"

Albert Brooks wrote, "If congress won't raise the debt ceiling, God will," with a link to a news report on the quake.

Jason Biggs joked that the East Coast quake was a result of rumors that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith had split. "Obviously, God is mad about Will and Jada," he tweeted.

30 Rock actor Judah Friedlander apologized for his contribution to the quake. "Sorry for the earthquake NYC, I just did a couple of intense jumping jacks," he joked before sending out another tweet. "Next time the Virginia Earth shakes, I will hold it still," Friedlander tweeted.

Jared Followill, bassist of Kings of Leon, recalled the action on the streets in New York City. "The streets are filling with people. I just heard a vuvuzela. Parades are going on. Children being thrown in the air. What the hell?!"

Comedian and frequent The Daily Show contributor John Hodgman wrote, "This guy in the cafe and I agree that we liked the earthquake when it first started. But now it's like, the wrong people are into it."

Jersey Shore cast member Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was succinct in her reactions to the quake. "Omg earthquakeeeee," read her first tweet, before she declared "2012 is near, I knew it!" Polizzi ended with "Waahhhhhhh."

Chord Overstreet Moves On From Glee

Chord Overstreet has landed his first gig since leaving from Glee.  Chord is going from playing a student at McKinley High to playing a teacher on ABCs sitcom, The Middle.

Chord will guest star in an episode as a fourth-grade teacher named Ralph Wilkerson, who's teaching methods conflict with Patricia Heaton and Neil Flynn's parenting skills.

You will remember the uproar when Chord decided to leave Glee after not being bumped up to series regular by Ryan Murphy.  And although I was a fan of Overstreet's Sam, he should realize that you have to work to get promoted.  Harry Shaum Jr. went two seasons before finally being signed for the third season as a series regular.

Dwayne Johnson Signs On To NBC Series

Jerry Bruckheimer has sold a series to NBC. The wrestling drama is set to take place in the world of 1980's wrestling.

Amy Winehouse: Not On Drugs When She Died

The toxicology report has just been released on the death of British singer, Amy Winehouse.  I know everyone had their suspicions that the known drug addict was using at the time of her death, the report has something different to say.

The family released the following statement after they were told the findings;

"Toxicology results returned to the Winehouse family by authorities have confirmed that there were no illegal substances in Amy's system at the time of her death. Results indicate that alcohol was present but it cannot be determined as yet if it played a role in her death. The family would like to thank the police and coroner for their continuing thorough investigations and for keeping them informed throughout the process. They await the outcome of the inquest in October."
Hopefully now, the talented Ms. Winehouse can begin to rest in peace.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Expecting Third Baby

Ben Affleck and his wife of six years, Jennifer Garner, have revealed that they are in fact expecting their third child.  The released the statement today, ending baby bump rumors that have been following Garner for weeks.

The married duo already have two daughters: Violet, 5, and Seraphina, 2.

Hopefully, this will also squash rumors of "Bennifer" round 2.

January Jones Dissed By Child Actor

 Kids say the darndest thing.....

"Mad Men" child star Jared Gilmore, who played the role of Betty and Don Draper's son Bobby, is leaving  AMC series for a bigger role, more pivotal role on the upcoming ABC series "Once Upon a Time."  But before he departs, he has some wise words for his replacement.

"Be careful around January [Jones]. She's not as approachable as the others. She's really serious about what she does. Everyone else is so nice," the precocious tyke told TV Guide.

"Mad Men"  is not set to premiere the new season until next year.
