After heated contract negations, Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene have signed on to continue their roles throughout the remainder of the Twilight Saga.

Thank Baby Jesus!  Even though they don't have huge parts in the franchise, replacing them would have given the films an awkward feeling.

Kellan, 25, and Ashley 23, will bank around $1.25 million for each of the final movies, according to THR.

Last year, Rachelle Lefevre was replaced with Bryce Dallas Howard because of a similar salary dispute so I am sure that Kellan and Ashley were a little worried about the turnout of all of the negotiations..

The Breaking Dawn Situation

News broke all over the Internet today with news of certain Twilight stars reportedly asking for a raise in conjuncture with Summit planning on releasing Breaking Dawn as 2 films. When the Twilight franchise began, Summit tied the actors in a contract for only 3 films, not knowing what kind of success the franchise would endure. After Summit realized what they had on their hands, the small film studio re-negotiated the contracts of all the stars to tie them down for a fourth movie, Breaking Dawn. However, Summit realized that Breaking Dawn was too lengthy of a story and to cut it down to one film would be murder.  Once author Stephanie Meyer signed off on the deal to make it 2 films, the preparations began. With none of the film's stars being signed up for a fifth installment, Summit began scrambling to secure everyone.

The problem was, most of the cast had become huge Hollywood names by this time. Taylor Lautner is ranking almost 8 million dollars a film and the secondary actors had begun their climb up the HW charts. So once again, Summit had to re-negotiate with the actors and actresses. They have tied just about everyone down for the fifth movie, including Robert, Kristen, and Taylor. But there are some Cullen vampires that are dragging their feet. It seems that Hollywood has gotten to these new stars and they are demanding another raise for a fifth film. In particular, the finger has been pointed at Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene as the ones who are making a fuss.

Reports are that even though Summit has offered them TEN times the amount they originally were payed, the stars are offended a the amount. They feel that since everyone is getting rich off of the saga, they should get a good chunk too. I get their point, if these reports are true. These actors are involved in something that had become such a huge hit, it turned Summit into an actual movie studio. The money that people are making off of these films is an amount that would blow people's minds and without these young stars, none of the would be possible. 

In this perspective, I totally understand Kellan and Ashley's point. However, these kids need to realize who they are dealing with. Remember a certain redhead named Rachelle Lefevre, who played Victoria?  Her agents played hardball on both her fee and scheduling and she was replaced with Bryce Dallas Howard. I comprehend that Kellan has become sought after and has been tied to some pretty big roles, but they need to be careful. This is the LAST installment in the franchise and rumors are that Summit intends there to be a fifth film, with or without the whole cast. They have no problem throwing in replacements at the last-minute. Some reports are that Summit is contemplating have Stephanie Meyer re-write some scenes, including a battle that would take care of Emmet and Alice to keep them out of the fifth movie. 

Summit is also contemplating moving production to Louisiana to save on dough. And moving the filming to the U.S would help us out a bit, given our economy. It's clear that Summit is on a mission to make this fifth film and gain as much money from it as possible. But it's also clear that these stars may be a little too cocky.

You don't bite the hands the feed you and Summit has lined your cabinets, Kellan and Ashley. Without your roles in this franchise, who's to say that you would have even gotten a big break? Kellan, honey. I know that you are sexy and you have gotten a lot of attention with your underwear posing and commando jogging with your schlong flopping in the wind, but don't let it get to you. As quickly as it came to you, it can go away with a new reputation that could be born with this attempt. And Ashley, you have some films coming out. No roles as powerful as Poseidon , but it's something. You kids should enjoy this ride that was given to you and just ride it to the end. You owe Summit for making your name popular, just as they owe you for the same thing. It's in your best interest to come to an agreement because I can promise that as long as Jacob, Bella, and Edward are still there, teenagers around the world will be okay with losing a vamp or two. Coachella Festival Brings On The Star Power

It was a beautiful weekend in Indio, California and a perfect setting for the Coachella Valley Music And Art Festival.  Tons of celebs enjoyed the music filled weekend, which kicked off with a performance from Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce. 

Gossip Boy Penn Badgley and Desperate Housewives star Shawn Pyfrom.  Penn also came without his lady love Blake Lively.  Hope that everything is still peachy in their game called love.  If not, Shawn is one hell of a sexy rebound.

Alexander Skarsgard looks lovingly into girlfriend Kate Bosworth's eyes as she tucks her hand in his back pocket.  How cute.  A.Skars had a little run in with security at the even after he had some issues with the paps.

One, Two Freddy's Coming For You.....

I knew that with the new Nightmare On Elm Street remake, some things would be different.  I assumed that the same movie that scared the living piss out of me as a child would probably take some bad turns, however I like in a world of denial and was totally pumped for the movie.  I love a movie that makes me, and pardon my french, "fag" out.  I like to scream at the screen and movies like Nightmare On Elm Street provided me the opportunity to do such.  Well the first 3 movies did, after that I was kind of done with it all.  One thing I am not a fan of is a franchise that doesn't know when to give it up.

Back on track though.  This is what the 2010 version of Freddy Krueger looks like.  To me, it's a little off and makes me sad that Robert Englund is not playing one of my favorite killers.  Wow, never thought I had a favorite killer, weird thing to say.

Jackie Earle Haley is now Freddy Krueger in the film that opens on April 30th.  He is actually contracted for three films which includes the remake and two sequels.  The cast also includes Katie Cassidy, Kellan Lutz and Rooney Mara takes over the lead character of Nancy Thompson, originally played by Heather Langenkamp.  We all know what happened in the original and how it all played out.  But if the right people were smart, this franchise would keep the three aforementioned actors throughout the entire trilogy, if that's what they are working towards  Lutz and Cassidy and both big names that have growing popularity and tying them to this project could be a good thing.  Just my opinion, I mean look how well it worked for Scream and how bad it worked for Nightmare On Elm Street 2.

Kellan Lutz As Poseidon

Kellan Lutz has signed onto the film War Of Gods set to begin filming in April.  Kellan will co-star with Henry Cavill as Thesus and Frieda Pinto as Phaedra.

Kellan will play Poseidon, lord of the sea, in the story of a young warrior who leads his men into battle with Greek gods to defeat gods of the Titans and save mankind, according to Variety.

Kellan is also part of the Nightmare On Elm Street remake that looks very promising.  Kellan has come a long way from his days as an Abercrombie model.

Seems that all of our little Twilighters are moving up int world.  With Kristen blowing people away with her performance in The Runaways with second string Twilighter Dakota Fanning, to Robert's touching performance in Remember Me. 

Hump Day Humper

An astounding 34% of voters have declared Jensen Ackles as the celebrity they would want to have sex with.  So in regards to that, we have made Jensen our Hump Day Humper.

What is it about Mr. Ackles that gets the hearts pumping?  That deep sexy voice that escapes from the television during Supernatural?  Or maybe it's the tall, rippled body that we know is hidden under those clothes.

Either way, Jensen beat out some pretty sexy men in the competition.  I recall getting a tweet telling me that with Robert Pattinson in the competition, there would be no competition.  Sorry tweet tweet, Jensen beat Robby by 12%.   Now if we can only convince Jensen not to marry Danneel Harris, all would be right with the world.  Maybe we will get lucky and he will come to his senses and see what he is getting himself into.


The other contenders in the "Who Would You Do?" poll really didn't compare to the outpouring, or should I say leg spreading, that was sent Jensen's way.
Ryan Reynolds got 12% while newlywed Jared Padalecki got 10% . Jake Gyllenhaal got  measly 7%, followed by Chris Evans, Zac Efron, and Kellan Lutz.

I'm shocked to find Kellan in last place.  If I had to choose a vampire to do, it would be him.  Have you seen what he is packin?  But out of that list, I think I'd have to pick Chris Evans for the one night stand.  I don't know what it is, but I want to make his flame come on.

Welcome Back Lauren Graham

She was the beloved Lorelai Gilmore for seven years and worked her way into out hearts with the best television mother/daughter relationship in television history.  Lorelai with her daughter Rory, Alexis Bledel, was one of the best duo's ever to grace the poor WB/CW network.

After Gilmore Girls was taken off the air, before anymore damage could be done to it, we wondered when we would see our beloved Graham again.  She had been offered everything under the sun to return to television, but it took almost three years for her to find a project she felt that she needed to do.

It came under sad circumstances with Maura Tierney having to pull out of the new NBC show Parenthood to seek cancer treatment.  We wish her the best but we couldn't think of a better replacement than good ole' Lauren Graham.

And speaking of Lauren, she is known around town for the most hilarious girl you will ever have the chance to meet.  She oozes sexuality and confidence and also has been so unlucky in love, it makes you want to hug her.  Her longest relationship was with Friends star, Matthew Perry for 5 years before ending it in 2008 amid Perry's substance abuse problems.

With a girl so stunning and an absolute gem to be around, then for the love of Pete, why is she single?  Is it because she actually morphed into her Lorelai character for awhile?  I mean don't get me wrong, love the character, but can you imagine being around her 24/7?  But I think it goes deeper than that.  I just think out poor girl is too nice and too sweet.  Too bad her and co-star Scott Patterson didn't get along, they make a cute couple.

So who could Lauren date?  Here are some suggestions that I think would be great for out funny gal.

Kellan Lutz.  Yes he may be younger, but Lauren for sure is a card carrying cougar.  She is hot, he is hot, can you imagine.  Sure, it's doesn't have staying power, but imagine what she could train this kid to do?

Gerard Butler.  So what if he is allegedly bisexual or having hook-ups with Jennifer Aniston and whoever else.  It would just take the right kind of girl to make him want to settle down and we have faith that Lauren could do it.  Besides, that accent of his makes you wonder what his tongue can do on it's own.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       





And our last vote, we say the hell with it.  Men are not all they are cracked up to be and two woman so unlucky in love would probably find that they can give each other what the other needs.  So Jennifer Aniston gets our last spot, we know it may take some Grey Goose, but Lauren we can assure you, it would piss off Emily and Richard!
