Amanda Bynes Retires

Amanda Bynes has shocked a lot of fans and most of Hollywood by announcing that she is retiring from acting at the ripe age of 24.  Though people think that she is too young to retire, you must remember that the young girl has been in the business for 13 years.

Amanda is a rare find in HW, something that is too overlooked.  She is an amazingly talented young actress with her head on her shoulders and the ability to be sexy and hilarious at the same time.  She and actress Anna Faris seem to have a lot in common, except that Amanda is unable to find her break-out role.

Bynes admits that she is quitting because acting isn't a fun business, and she ain't lying.  However, life isn't always fun, Mandy.  We are just lucky that as actors we make enough money to just walk away from the business and live a normal life.

I wish you all the best Amanda and I really hope you aren't serving me my salad in a couple of years.

Interesting kindness take. Others are really bashing her, making fun of such an early retirement and doubting her acting skills. In fact, this is the first time I've read any sympathetic reaction to her announcement.

Wow it is shocking but a good thing if she doesn't like the business. I wish her loads of luck.

I admire her for quitting there are alot of actresses who make bank phoning it in and are mindnumbingly boring. She is young enough and known enough to make a comeback at anytime if that is her wish

Bob, are you even human? "interesting kindness take", huh?

Why would anybody bash her? Why would anyone even care that much to bash her? She quit her job, who hasn't? Or, been laid off. She wanted a change. She did need a break out role. Oh well, I'm sure we'll see her on a true hollywood story eventually. I'm not even joking. No wonder she wanted out.

And, this isn't gossip. I don't come to GB for Amanda Bynes news. Yawn

p.s. that waiter comment reeked of snobbiness, GB. Thanks for sharing your insecurities by being an a- whole.

Geez people, who pissed on all of your cornflakes (BobNYC excluded)?
Maybe GB has a super important job, maybe he's sick as a dog, maybe he doesn't give a crap about "rabid fans" anymore. Give him and Amanda Bynes and BobNYC a friggin break, willya?

GB, I luv ya. Whatever is going on with you now, hope it isn't of the nasty variety.

Ha Ha anonymous 7:50 - I'll try to use my simpler words so I don't stress you're (or just for you: "your") once-celled cerebrum (oh, sorry, I mean frontal lobe...er...ah...brain-part.) How's that?!

BobNYC said...

OK, now did you catch the "you're" reversal? "Your" is correct. And how about "once-celled" instead of one-celled? Good for you! Now quick, right something!

How about write instead of 'right'! Stop being a pussy, Bob!

Oh, Bob. You think you're witty. That's cute.

K yall. I have heard her name. But I really have no idea who she is. Dont know anything she has done or why she is even famous. So when I heard she was retiring I was all "who?". Have we lost something by her retirement or will I be vindicated that no one else will notice either?

Besides the pretty decent acting skill, that gal has a pair of gams on her that just won't quit. I always thought she'd be huge... but it never seemed to gel for her. Alas.
