Jeffrey Dean Morgan In Flaunt Magazine

Jeffrey Dean Morgan invited Flaunt Magazine into his Studio City home and shared his thoughts on his career, his overload of working and why he wishes he had never bought his gorgeous home.  However, he never mentions Hilarie Burton or their son.

On his house purchase 18 months ago:  “As much as I love it, I’m kicking myself for buying this house because I really don’t have time to be here.”

On quitting smoking: “I’ve been trying to quit for like five years,” he says, puffing casually on his cigarette. “I got one of those vaporizer things, I tried hypnotism, acupuncture, the patch—I’ve done everything.” He exhales a small cloud of smoke. “Is it just wrong that I love smoking?” he jokes. “It’s my only vice.”

On his personal life: “Whatever I do in my life,” he says, “I want my mom and my dad to be proud of me. We don’t tattoo someone’s name on our body and we don’t get married.”

On being a celebrity: “I love acting, the star part is not my bag. It’s weird and you don’t get used to it. I’m not comfortable with it, nor do I want it. I want to be with people I care about and hang out with my dogs. Never in my days did I want to be a celebrity.”

If he doesn't have time to be at home does he have time for a new baby? What about the other son he's rumored to have?

There's something not right about a man who fails to mention his girlfriend and new baby in a magazine interview but makes sure it's in there that he never wants to marry.

GB I have not seen this anywhere. Impressive

I love this man something fierce. I think that its fine he doesnt mention his child(ren)or Hillarie in his interviews. His life is his, what he shares with the world is what he shares. I just wish he would share himself with me...just saying =}

I agree with 7:37. It's too bad he didn't mention the baby but it's private. Guess we won't be seeing any picures of Baby Morgan - so sad.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting JDM. Yummy! I just wish there was more juice in the post...kind of boring. He usually takes much hotter pictures, too. Loving this man and so happy for him to get his due in HW.

It's not that he didn't specifically talk about Hil and the baby that bothers me.. it's that he didn't even allude to being settled in that way, while he made it a point to say that marriage is a no-no.
In the full article he makes it sound very "just me and my dogs" and i find that very disconcerting given that this interview couldn't have been done that long ago. He said that work is the only place that's comfortable. He seems very discontented for someone with so much to be happy about. It's unsettling.
The full interview is on the Flaunt website if anyone is interested.

8:45 - thanks for letting us know about the full article. May be it's just his personality and that was the lifestyle difference that his Weeds co-star didn't like. Who knows. But I do think you have to be a bit crazy in some way to go into acting in HW! This may be his. Still love the guy though. His private life is just that and I'm fine with it. But I still want the dirt on his TV stud sons - Jensen and Jared. Daddy Winchester was awesome! Bring him back from the dead.

Another privacy lover; sorry why do this people go in to acting? It makes no sense really. It's like they want money and fame but they don't want us to want to know about them. They really CANNOT have it both ways. They should just enjoy their lives and get over the fact that people are curious. Too bad he didn't mention Hilarie and the baby that would have been nice :( I still love JDM though he seems really down to earth but the NO marriage thing is a bit disconcerting. I mean I don't know if you have that attitude are you just going to go around making babies and never settling down? *sigh* I guess some people do that but what kind of example will they become to all those kids.

That man has got such a sexy voice...grrrrhhhhh. Wish the interview was audio! Shouldn't complain though, at least hes getting press.

Hey, Ellen O - I do agree with you about actors becoming famous (which is what they want) and then complaining they have no privacy. It's like a tennis pro whining because he gets tennis elbow - comes with the job. And to me having a baby is a good thing to share with everybody! But...different strokes.

I really don't think it should be a given that if you choose acting as a career that your life must be an 'open book'. It's a career choice like any other. If you chose to be a doctor or a chef, you would expect your right to privacy. As I said, it's just a job, like any other. I wonder how many great actors have decided AGAINST having that as a career simply because they wouldn't want the loss of privacy? I'm not an actor, but I know I'd NEVER want to be 'famous'.

It's not really fair to expect the man to preach about being settled down... Hilary got pregnant like two breaths into their relationship and they weren't even married yet at the time of this interview. They were unexpectedly expecting and he could have walked away, but he's stuck around over five years now, so that should say enough about his character that he truly cares about them and is devoted to them.

But does he play on the side

I believe the beginning of their relationship was really them just hooking up because she was pregnant within the 1st month. That's great that he has hung in there and become a family man.

Hi Sunshine! I heard he plays a lot. Even now as of 2018.
Do you know names of the lucky gals. I don't?

She got pregnant the night they met and got wasted at his house. Tell me they didn't screw that night!
