Lucy and her man were together for a good amount of time. In HW time, they were in their golden years. Lucy like the spotlight and the fame, but all the poor girl wanted was some love and attention. Isn't that why most of us flock to HW?
Lucy thought that she and her man were in it together for the long haul and decided that they would step back from the limelight and raise a family in a big house away from the paparazzi. Boy was Lucy wrong!
Lucy's man agreed with her plan and suggested that she pull back first and as their family grew, he would slow down on his creativity. Lucy slowed her Hollywood roll and began laying groundwork for the couple to retreat into obscurity. But while Lucy vanished, her man soared. His name was everywhere and he had no intention of giving it up it seemed.
Flash forward to a very public event where Lucy had planned on announcing her retirement with her man and sharing the news they were off to be a normal family with the baby she just learned she was carrying. But word is Lucy was shut down when she found her man and his assistant laying the groundwork for their own little bundle of joy.
The damage was done and Lucy had already extracted herself from HW and no one even bothered to wonder where she had gone. Lucy took care of the baby situation after her loving boyfriend sent her a letter and a check demanding that she do so. Poor girl ran out of town crying.
But after a long hiatus in seclusion, seems that Luscious Lucy is back with a vengeance. Problem is that no one wanted to work with her after her ex spread viscous diva rumors about her all over town.
So Lucy did what any respectful woman would do and she offered her luscious body to a certain HW big name. Now Lucy is working her way back up, but she should know that the more she wants, the more she has to give.

Anon 7:08pm: I don't think this is her. First, she's not luscious. Second, after Ally McBeal she kind of disappeared but has been back in the spotlight since 2006 with Brothers and Sisters.
Main things to consider here:
She's attractive (luscious reference)
She was very famous
Dated an even more famous guy
She vanished at the same time that his career "soared"
She's back now, working her way to the top again (who has been doing cameos or secondary roles?)

Anon 8:34pm: Funny thing is that I thought it was Jim Carrey for the boyfriend too and started looking into this yesterday. However, his career soared in the mid/late-90's and he was with McCarthy between 2005/2010. Doesn't fit.
Lauren Graham does have a musical connection. She did the Guys and Dolls revival on Broadway. She sang and danced in it. I didn't think they're her strong point, but she did it.
I have seriously looked at couples from every year in the 90's and 2000's at whosdatedwho.com and cannot find anybody that fits!

Argh I was so sure this was CatherineZeta Jones until I read the part about her leaving the fella & geting rid of the baby. Fairly famous in the late 90s/ early 00's, much more famous hubby, lots if references to the man being older - "golden years", "retiring". She has been out of the limelight for a while, Jennifer Grey is about the same age & Czj started as a dancer, tried to be a singer like christina & started in tv (albeit in the uk) like lauren. She has the musical connection (Chicago) and the sketch even looks like her!! And I can certainly believe she is a diva!
But, in light of the last 2 paragraphs, I'd go with KiKi too.

Totally thought of JLo and Ben Affleck as well. He dumped her out of the blue and she was a huge star at the time. After that she settled for Marc and then basically disappeared for several years. Now she is back on American Idol, guess she had to do a favor to get her gig!

Jessica Alba, isn't she doing makeup ads featuring the words "lucious" and she did have a baby and disappeared for quite a long time. And let's face it folks she was on a pretty hot roll for a while there. Who the heck is her hubby? I gotta go look, but I'm thinking that it's her.:-)
What about Alexis Bleidel? Her and Milo were together for YEARS, his star power took off when hers was disappearing (Gilmore Girls ended). She's been absent for years at this point. She was on GG with Lauren Graham. Not sure about the other AIAs though.

Minnie Driver. She made a big splash, was tight with Matt Damon. He dumped her on TV or somehow very publicly. She pretty much disappeared and he got huge. Now she seems to be making a comeback.
Minnie has worked pretty consistently, only taking a year break here and there. She's done movies, tv, and released an album. Although it hasn't been popular work. "In 2010, Driver's movie Motherhood set a record for the biggest bomb in British cinema history garnering just £88 on 11 tickets on opening weekend.(wikipedia)" Had a son in 2008, but the father was never named (last I heard).
