Just Some Info From Gossip Boy

Every Friday, we will be putting up a new YouTube singer of the week.  Someone who you have watched and got blown away.  Please, if you have suggestion, leave the links in the comments here or email them HERE and we will watch over them.  We are all about showcasing talent that has yet to be discovered.

Also, some people have been wondering why we have advertising on our page.  The money, which is not much, all goes toward charitable foundations that I am involved with.  Gigi had a brilliant idea of marketing other items that would go towards charity.  I'm not sure about all of it and would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions.

Didn't think twice about that Ads luv. Of course that's probably because that's part of my business. When I look at a site, I usually find myself thinking about how it could be making more money. I'm wired that way...haha.

^ Gee, and when I look I my life apparently I think how can I waste more time... LOL... I've a website for my own art and I realise I'm hopelessly in love with both what I do and whom I do it for. But money? I just don't have a clue how you make that happen.

Sorry about this little rambling. It's just your comment... is the opposite of what I tend to be thinking like -all the time!

Hi Anon,

First, it's awesome that you have a site for your art! And you're not rambling, I understand :) I'm so used to thinking of a client's interest, I can't separate that part of my brain, even when I'm just surfing the net for fun!

I'm sure if I looked at your art site, I would of course first be interested in the art (I love art)...but, I'd also be thinking "how else could this site be generating money to help pay for itself"...haha.

What kind of art do you do?

GB, the only time ads bother me is when I'm on my slow-arse old iMac at home and they take forever to load! ;-) I get why you have them.

Is Gigi thinking of t-shirts etc? I probably wouldn't buy them because of the extra mailing costs to the UK, but don't let me stop you. I wouldn't be surprised if they would sell quite well!
