Brittany Murphy's Husband Found Dead

Five months after the sudden demise of actress Brittany Murphy, her husband, Simon Monjack, has been found dead in their Hollywood Hills home.
Cops say the 39-year-old British screenwriter died of natural causes - possibly a heart attack, according to media outlets in the United Kingdom.
"We concluded there no signs of foul play or any criminal activity involved," said Sgt. Alex Ortiz, a police spokesman.
Firefighters rushed to Monjack's Rising Glen Road mansion on Sunday night after an emergency call came in from a female that sources said was likely Murphy's mother, Sharon. Emergency workers tried to resuscitate Monjack about 9:40 p.m., but he was pronounced dead soon after.

The Los Angeles coroner's office is now taking over the investigation since criminal activity had been ruled out, Ortiz said.
Back in December, Brittany Murphy collapsed in the shower - also at their home. Murphy's mother discovered the body.

The spunky 32-year-old actress was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The Los Angeles coroner's office concluded her death was accidental, citing  pneumonia complicated by an iron deficiency, anemia and multiple drug intoxication.
Murphy was best known for her roles in "Clueless," "Girl Interrupted," and "8 Mile."
The couple married in 2007 and were planning for a long future together.

"We were going to have children and move to new York next year," Monjack said in interviews after Murphy's death. "The night before she died we were deciding baby names and said if it was a boy it was going to be Oliver and if it was a girl Sophie.

Sorry to sound so harsh, but it's no great loss really is it

That's terrible Miss_P, have some compassion.
The poor guy died of a broken heart I think.
Tragic finish to Brittany Murphy's story.

It's kind of ironic and strange that both of them died young and of apparent natural causes.
