Sure Naomi's pretty, but i just can't see her as Marilyn.
Marilyn had this sumptuous, edible sort of beauty...vivacious and impulsive looking.

Yeah, this picture is so softened it doesn't do a thing to promote Naomi Watts as MM. Also agree with other posters - where are the curves? If they were going to cast her, surely they should of at least suggested she pack on a few kilos for the role. Again, agree with other posters - Christina Hendricks would make a better MM.
Marilyn was superbly curvaceous, unlike most of todays "stars", still she may be amazing in the role.

Christian Hendricks!!! My vote is for her! What were these dumbass casting directors thinking when they cast Naomi Watts? Did they think we would forget that the hottest star of all time was not a malnourshed, undernourished actress?
I would choose Christian Hendricks as well.
