As the years pass, many of our favorite celebrities are seen less and less. Who can blame them? Escaping the public eye and living a quiet life of luxury.
Then there are the ones who want to keep working but Hollywood as cast too old to continue on. Though they have huge names, their ideal roles are far and few between. So we pondered who was going to be the new A-Listers of our generation. With so many new faces on the scene, which ones actually had staying power and the "it" factor to actually join the ranks of Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts?
While the rest of Manhattan shared their drama filled earthquake stories, we sat around making our list. Feel free to add your thoughts in the comments. Be mean if you want, we can take it. So here is Part 1;
Emma Stone: Emma Stone has proven herself as a force to be reckoned with. Not only can this gorgeous red-head make you cry while laughing at her impeccable comedic timing, she can also tug at your heart strings with a raw vulnerability that many seasoned actresses cannot even manage to muster up. Ms. Stone has a certain sex appeal that could even grab a gay man's attention. She never seems to realize just how stunning she looks and it's clear to see that she thinks of herself as one of the guys, making her even more appealing. With her mind blowing talent and down to earth personality, we believe Emma to be someone who will be on our screens for years to come.
Mila Kunis: At the age of 14, Mila Kunis auditioned for FOX's That 70's Show. An audition that required everyone auditioning to be 18 years of age. Mila lied about her age and landed the role. We watched her grow up on the hilarious sitcom, playing the snobby Jackie Burkehart. When the series ended, Mila had small but powerful roles
in a couple of films. We thought that Ashton Kutcher would be the break-out star from the series. We didn't like it, but we were dealing with it. But then suddenly a little flick called Black Swan came out and suddenly the world was seeing what we already knew. Mila Kunis was a talented, graceful young actress who wore each character she played so well that it became hard to tell where Mila ended and the character began. Mila played such a perfect second lead to Natalie Portman in Black Swan that the awards began to pour in. Her recent movie, Friends With Benefits, was such a good movie because of Kunis' performance. Mila has a way of grabbing you and bringing you right into the moment with her. With her throaty voice and passionate eyes, Mila expresses every word she speaks. This girl has been working for this since she was a wee tot and now that she has her spotlight on her, the curtain isn't closing anytime soon.
Ryan Gosling: He has come a long way since his days in the Mickey Mouse Club, and Ryan Gosling is going to keep on going. Ryan has a talent that echos old Hollywood, with his style and delivery. Ryan also has the ability to have chemistry with anyone he happens to share the screen with. Sometimes so much so that it is rumored to lead off-screen as well. But we aren't here to talk about rumors, just yet anyway. Ryan has proven that his talent runs deep and he can play any kind of role and be believable in it. We all know of The Notebook, the movie that put Ryan Gosling on our radars. That role has earned Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams as spot in movie history. And Ryan Gosling will definitely become a legend from our time.

i don't follow Gosling for THE NOTEBOOK(shitty movie) but for THE BELIEVER:Gosling is like Clooney but a Clooney knowing to act other than Clooney
I agree on Gosling and Emma Stone. Not so much with Mila. I didn't see FWB but I thought her Black Swan character was the same as her character on the 70's show. I think she's a one-note.
Portman should definitely be on this list.
People who will make this list, I predict:
-Shia LaDoucheBag
-Carey Mulligan (new Kate Winslet)
-Joseph Gordon-Levitt
-Michelle Williams
People who should be on this list:
-Joseph Gordon-Levitt
-Shia LeBeouf (unfortunately)
-Daniel Radcliffe (give him a chance, I think he'll surprise you!)
People who should NOT be on this list:
-Robert Pattinson (all he has going for him is his looks)
-Kristen Stewart (she thinks chewing her lip and mumbling her lines is acting)
-Lea Michele ( not because she isn't good, but if she's as much of a diva as people say, then she isn't going to get much work after Glee)
Shia's current fame is a ????? he must be someone's secret lovechild or a gay moguls boy toy because he has no talent or looks.
I like Mila but she's too perky for the meaty roles and will crash and burn when she can't can't play young twenties anymore.
Michelle Williams has the chops and the gravitas to go all the way.
Tom Hardy has done some amazing UK tv/film work if he land's a serious role in HW he will get the recognition he deserves.
Michael Fastbender is well on his way to young A list after X-men and James McAvoy is already there imo Kitty
