Is Simon Really Engaged?

Reports of Simon Cowell being engaged may have been a bit premature.  Though his make-up artist girlfriend Mezghan Hussainy has been spotted wearing an iceberg on her finger, sources are saying Simon has called it a promise ring.

"Simon is not ready for marriage, but he wanted to show Mezghan that he was in it for the long haul," a sources said.  "He is in the commitment stage, not the marrying stage."  And others are reporting the couple is happily engaged and sharing the news with friends.

Either way, Simon has not issued one word about becoming engaged.  Not that he really would, but sooner or later someone has to commit to something.  But, I must admit, there are more people confirming the non-engagement  then there are confirming a wedding in the future.
